Bought new last September, so still in pristine condition. Current rrp is around two grand.

Top quality cartridge. The legendary Koetsu mid-range is present and correct, and I found it in no way lacking at the frequency extremes once run-in.
It is probably worth noting that the modern Goldline version is considered more dynamic than the earliest versions of the Black from 30+ years ago.
It also benefits from a more 'normal' compliance than the (stiffer, low compliance) Rosewood, Urushi and Stone models, making it the Koetsu best suited for modern light-medium mass tonearms.
A classy performer ...
