Hi there.
I'm a double bassist - I've been scratching a living from the bass for about thirty years - so I ought to have a decent audio set-up; but it's constantly in flux and usually made up of bits and pieces which I have unsuccessfully attempted to repair.
At the moment it's much better than usual, because I've inherited some of my mother's gear - NAD 3130 amp (replacing my worn out 3020 version which I will no doubt "repair" soon), Dual CS 505-3 turntable, Marantz cd-52, and a pair of rather gorgeous Mordaunt Short ms55Ti speakers. I don't have room for these last, sadly, so may have to move them on and return to listening to everything on the Tannoy nearfield studio monitors I use for mixing.
