TacT Millenium Amplifiier MK2

I have recently acquired a TacT MK2 Millenium Amplifier.

Unfortunatley, it's a missing the remote control and I would really like to utilise the "max volume" and "display dim" features. There is no menu system to set this using the fascia buttons. I have a Lyngdorf branded multi remote, and unfortunatley it does not control it.

It's a very old model now, so the chances of finding one second hand are slim... The max volume feature is of particular importance to me as it stops (little) people turnining it up too loud if they play with the free spinning wheel. It's saved my speakers from excess volume / damage many a times when using a Lyngdorf model with this feature.

Are any former/current owners out there able to assist? I have a programmable IR blaster to hand, or failing that perhaps utilising the onboard RS232 interface a possibilty?

I wonder if I can convert it from Philips Pronto CFF to another format? FYI I have an old Samsung S5 which has a built in IR blaster which I am hoping will useful.

Bloody big ups to www.remotecentral.com and adelias over a DIYaudio - between the two I am up and running :) Controlling the volume is painfully slow (3 clicks per decibel, and holding down the button does nowt to speed things up), however all the originally remote's functionality is now to hand! Good job I've kept the old galaxy S5 handset going for all it's worth - I've now piggybacked off the IR blaster to a couple of universal "learning" remotes for safe keeping.

In other news, it's a stonker of an amp... The sibling TDA(i) 2200 model it replaced remains a very good amp to my ears, but this has more of everything - a fuller sound across the spectrum. Maybe a *little* less refined on the upper frequencies, but the midrange and low end have filled out considerably.
