Can you help? I need to identify a valve that i have owned for many years. It has been in my box of valves for over 20 years. It's a Brimar which i am keen to use in my Vincent phono stage should it be compatable. The valve in the unit is an ECC82. I am unsure what the Brimar valve is. Can anyone out there identify it for me? Many thanks.

I’d guess ecc81 or 83.

Yep Ecc81.it’s a yellow-T I have 2. Very good they are

Thanks Jamie. What a shame. Back in my valve box it goes. Had it been an ECC 82 I could have used it in my Phono stage.
