15W per channel Push-Pull OTL power amp built from DIY kit. It's best to read about it here: https://www.transcendentsound.com/son-of-beast.html

The kit was $799 USD + shipping to the UK

The EL509s valves are £29 each and readily available http://www.hotroxuk.com/jj-tesla-valve-el509.html

The 12AT7s (ECC81s) are PSVANE 12AT7 TII at £25 each

It has good quality CMC audio input/output sockets

The cover was about £50

Everything else is the stock kit. I'll include the build manual, and I'll dig out the resistors you need to set the bias.

For sale at £375 for collection from Leeds only. Happy to demo it, and open it up for inspection.

Wow what a bargain, I had a mini beast here on loan from Julian, very nice amp. It wasn't for sale so I bought something else. I would have driven to Leeds to get this. I see that price as way too low.

Thanks Paul, it is a cracking amp for the money, in the right system, but I'm not using it, and I'll be happy if someone else does.

Rule 1 of selling a valve amp should be to show the valves functioning

You must be relatively local Ali, you're welcome to pop round to Kirkstall for a listen one evening if you fancy it.

Thanks Richard, I'm working away though. Just started a new job, been out of work since October. If I had the spare readies I would have snapped this up.
