Funk Firm Technics SL1200/1210 Platter - MkII Strata

I ordered the MkI version of the Funk Firm platter and this turned up. I've never really liked the look of it, but afraid there were none of the original ones left, and I'd get charged the extra £200+ this one cost, I kept my mouth shut and kept it. I had to send the sub-platter to Arthur to get him to re-machine it to fit the Mike New bearing. It has the issue where the edge is a bit sticky from the glue that bonds the 2 layers, and there are some areas round the edge that looks like it's unbonded - you can see in the photos. It's just cosmetic though, it's solid as anything, weighs a tonne, and most importantly, is a massive sonic improvement.
