I have found a lentek integeated amp.
It can also be used as pre or puwer.

It can also be bridged according to a 40 year old review.

So, presuning i can find another.

What benefits are to be had?

How would i go about bridging?
There are no user manuals as far as i know.

Is there a standard way?

Thanks

Some years ago I bridged two Cambridge P500 stereo power amps with boards I got from Practical Electronics. These boards use LM388 op-amps and caps and resistors to carry out the bridging and you can use the existing power supply for the juice required. There are differing views on how much of a power gain you achieve by bridging, but what it does do is increase the voltage gain and IMO gives a more solid or ballsy presentation. I am still using them.
The Amps you have may have a "bridged" switch like some NAD amps or Lentek may have made it a dealer only upgrade. You could source some boards elsewhere to do it yourself.

I believe that the popular class D amps like TPA3116 are bridged as standard.

I have a pair of Nuprime STA-9 power amps. They are stereo amps but used in bridged mode produce 290w each. The bridging process not only increases power, but also improves dynamics and detail, and makes the amp sound more valve like.

I don't think this can be bridged in the normal sense.

You can use the pre out to feed two power amps.

You can use the power in fed from a pre amp, and another Lentek as a power the same way.

You can bi-amp using two Lenteks one feeding tweeter, another feeding bass, you would have to adjust volumes to be correct.

The juries out as far as benefits, greater dynamics, greater clarity .....maybe!

Thanks for all the replies.

So, may or may not be beneficial.
Will have to see if another Lenten turns up.

And better listen to the first one as well.

Just finished the reform of kef 104/2 and install of morel mdt29-04.

So impatient for the Lenten to arrive.
