This is a Cocobolo wood body suitable for Decca Blue/Maroon/Gold/Supergold cartridges.
It adds mass and reduces resonance. It definitely improved the sound of my Decca Supergold.
Only selling as I’ve had an “official” Decapod fitted by Presence Audio.
Included is the matching cocobolo 4 pin connector and brass mounting screws.
This connector is a perfect fit for the body and saves you having to cut up your existing red plastic mounting bracket.
Fitting is very straightforward. Simply (and carefully) slide off the metal lid on the cartridge and then carefully slide the cartridge into the wood body. It’s a very snug fit. No glue required.
New these are £92 plus postage from Germany. I’m looking for £55 including postage to mainland UK.
