Vangelis 1492 is one of my favourite CD's. I have often hoped the audio quality of the CD single containing the additional tracks Line open and Landscape
could be the same as the general release. So it is a mystery why or how the general release audio quality, is not quite up to the same standard as these two tracks,
which are exceptional.
i am still researching this, hoping the less circulated Atlantic label edition ( also Warner Bros ) may have the better audio quality, so will return to let you know.
Perhaps a remastered version may appear with the audio quality of Line open and landscape - let's hope so.
