This popped up on my Facebook Market this morning. I don’t know if I’ve posted it in the right place or in the correct format, or even if the link will work for all, so mods, feel free to remove if you feel you need to.

I know nothing about it other than what’s in the ad. I’d go for it myself, but it’s too big for the front room and Jane wouldn’t like it.

It's a Ferrograph Mk.V. A valve mono machine with a full replay amplifier (including tone controls) to power an external speaker if required.

For its age it is in pretty good cosmetic condition, showing the usual marks where the paint has worn away from repeated use of the function control switch on the top fascia.

An old thread but im gradually getting through em all. Ferrograph Series 6 was the first stereo machine, but you can pick up modded series 5 stereo machines.. tbh id rather go for an old japanese deck these days. Been there, done it with a lot of British & europena open Reels, especially the Ferrographs.. They were nothing but a Ferkin nightmare.
