I'm doing some serious tinkering around st the moment but think I've moved too far from my personal preference for EL34 type valve amps and efficient soeakers. Still, its nice to try stuff along the way.*

Lavardin is one amp I always wanted to own.. unfortunatley it doesn't have the power needed by the Maggies otherwise I'd love to give it a go...

This is an excellent amp, extraordinarily clean and very very refined.

It needs a full bodied pair of loudspeakers, since due to the cleanliness tends to sound a bit lean.

At this price is a bargain (I paid mine £ 1650 ex-demo).

Steve is a trustworthy seller and a truly gentleman.

Thanks fellas, very kind. I'd agree with Mauros description. It sounded terrible with my proac 1scs. Paired up with AN Ks or my recently acquired frugal XLs it sounds stunning, better than my Audionote Soro SE which has me scratching my head somewhat.
