My lovely PT1 has to go having been usurped by an exceptionally mint Thorens TD124. I just can't help scratching the idle drive itch despite the PT1 being very good. I have removed a Roskan Nima from the deck which I am also selling and they made a very satisfying pairing. The PT1 was last serviced by Doug Brady two years ago. It is all original with wall wart, Andrew of Doug Brady replaced a number of components within the power supply and passed the deck with a clean bill of health. The platter spins freely without any unpleasant sounds which might suggest bearing damage. The perspex lid is in good condition with only light dust swirls and the acrylic platter has a light scratch I have shown in one of the photo's.
There is a carbon fibre tonearm plate made by Truepoint and the original suspension tool as well as the original tonearm mounting plate.
£400 before P&P- Collection would be preferable! I am also interested in cartridges, tonearms, phonostages and passive preamps should someone want to do a swap deal.
