FS. Kef Cara Speakers + Telefunkens

Up for sale are my nice Cara's. very tidy and all worky. Not gonna get used now I have the Eddys, as I still have 2 pairs of telefunkens too.
I was keeping these as i liked them. Efficient at 90db, 8 ohm 2 way speakers. new grill covers fitted by Paul a few years ago.

'Caras' are a mid 80's speaker, they are actually thin on the ground, I think they used an ABR speaker so are obviously a 2 Way jobbie. Not heard them but KEF made some good sounding speakers in the 80's..

Yup 2 way with an abr.. I replaced one when i got them as it had a tear(geoff kindly supplied me one) I got Paul Coupe to redo the covers so professionally done.. I redid the black ash a bit and they are very tidy speakers that sound excellent. Ive a few sets of very decent speakers that i no longer need. Ive 2 sets of my full range Telefunken ones as well that need to go.

give these a quick bump.. the drivers will get stripped out and cabs dumped probably if no one buys.£60 for speakers.

I also have 2 sets of Telefunkens in similar situation.. a set of doubles(£150) and a set of singles(£80). These are old quality 10" drivers. wont take a huge current but are very efficient and only need a few watts.
might be worth coming with a van for all three. Again i will likely strip them if not. drivers are tbh worth more.

I've always preferred ABRs to ports. Worth mentioning that Kef are (or were?) very strict with their anechoic frequency measurements, these will go much lower in room than you'd think from the official specs.

All 3 are great speakers. Alas the components are going to get stripped I guess.
Parts are smaller and more valuable oddly
