Working but...
I set the unit up so the the bright LED’s were switched off in use.
However the Auto select for source doesn’t seem to want to work now. If you plug in an optical cable or coax cable and send a signal to the dac, then it will pick up the signal by repeatedly pressing the select button. Once detected it will stay with that input even when powered down.
This is how I’ve used it.
I suspect it is a firmware issue that could be resolved.
It is now surplus to requirements.
It remains a top class DAC.
The difference in sound quality between a switching PS and LDA linear is pronounced.
