Hello,

I´m new here and has been asked to make an introduction of my self :-)

42 years old, living in Denmark - married and have 4 children.

my audio historie is app 12
have been swapping gear all the time, so i have had all to much diffrent gear in the house

i Like SET Tubes and Vinyl

And have just begun to sell all of my gear once again,
in order to build som kit stuff, and gain some knowledge in the technic side of it all.

have just build a Riaa from DIYHIFISUPPLY "the vinyl song" its an tube riaa 6922 tubes and uses the LCR cans as riaa correction- great phono stage !
really satisfied with it,

and i have also just assembled a "Bent Audio Tap-X" its an passive autoformer pre. it´s fully remote controlled and adds 6 db of attenuation to the signal,
this is a really cool piece, the sound of it is really great, its open, its controlled, it has great dry bass, it has tons of detail, and it has the most natural sound of all the pre amps i have had in my home

i like it more than the Audio Note M3 phono that i used to own, at 1/6 the price!

and the guy that sels them from Canada, John Chapmann, is a real pleasure to deal with, great service

you can see my current set up in my signature...feel free to ask:)

Hi Nikolaj,
Welcome again from me.
I can vouch for your words about John Chapman, he went waaaaay out of his way to help me out. I feel more people should know about his preamps - they almost got reviewed in the audio press here (twice to my knowledge) but for some reason with no success.
Your system seems like a very interesting combination.
Cheers

Hello Ole,

I live in Ølstykke,

My Lcr are build by myself, with 2 watt Tantalum audio note and Shindo resistores and a pair of better capacitors, i have wired it with solid core copper wire that i got from Bent Audio/John Chapmann,
I am quite satisfied with it, just need some new valves of a better quality than the sylvania 6dj8 that i use now

Can you tell a little about yours ?

b regards Nikolaj

Hello nicolaj

If truth be told, it is that I have a set volume pot meters fra samme firm. Inspired by how they sounded I bought RIAA LCR and now I sit with two transformers that I have just received by mail and must be started to buy the rest and build RIIA LCR. To make it quite funny so I do not know how to build electronics and certainly not with tubes. So I must start from scratch. Therefore, I am very curious about your project and you can probably understand need help.

Regards Ole
