Hi all
Living in Johannesburg but moving to Nairobi in Kenya within 2 weeks.
System is in throes of being packed for about 12 months storage :(
I play classical guitar and use this as my benchmark when tuning my system (selecting components). The system as it stands today has about 5 years service with no plans to change anything.

Welcome to the forum :)
What's your first name ? We like to use first names on AOS. Could you add it to your details as your signature.
What kind of music do you like ?
I know what its like to have your system packed away so you can't use it. After I got married it took about a year to sort out a room to use it in. Now my gear has taken over the house :eek::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Thanks.
Name is Arthur, just finding my way around and will add to signature when way is found!
I have an extremely varied taste in music from A - Z and most genres, excluding rap and what I can only describe as doef-doef sounds (you hear it coming from car sound systems and cheap sub-woofers).

And, the number behind my name is the year of birth - although the counter stopped at 27!
Welcome good luck with your move
Sounds like you got a good system and get much pleasure from it
Hope you enjoying the football
Arthur,welcome to AOS :)
Regards,
Hello Arthur - think I may already have said hello on the gallery page, but there's no harm in saying hello again - good luck with the move, hope you've at least got an ipod and headphones or similar to keep you in tunes... I don't think I could survive a day without some music, maybe even rap or doef-doef! ;)
Enjoy AoS and look forward to your posts.

Thank you so much to everyone for the welcome.
Alex, so in agreement with you and am stripping components from a pc to take with as hand luggage and assemble best as can with headphones!
Perhaps just lay it all out on a table a la "The Naked PC"!
My music is double backed up onto a portable drive too; just a bit of OCD but lessons have been learned the hard way..

I am delighted to inform you I shall be returning to SA tomorrow. Once I have acquired a new home I shall be retrieving my system from storage. Bring it on...
