It's not AOS it's tapatalk and the adds will be personal to you driven by your browsing and some cookies. At least half of mine are hifi related .....

Of course it was crap - it was BMC. But I was referring to the appearance/styling, which in the mid '60 was refreshing and IMO, they looked "cute".

Not sure I agree with that. It was one of the better cars of its time, the A series engine and transverse gearbox unit came straight out of the Mini and was reliable. The Hydrolastic suspension was good and the car handled nicely. Of course it was ultimately going to rust away, but all cars of that era did.

I lived in India for about 5 years. When you were in the cars they made there.. it reminded you of just how cars were in the 60’s and 70’s. Loud noisy diffs, clunky gearboxes, vague stearing, jolting suspension.
Had an Australian mate who worked for Mahindra on a jv with Ford. They got a Tata Safari (I had bought one). A sort of shogun lookalike. They took it apart to test it. 6 months later I asked Wayne what the results were
(Assume oz accent)
