Hi all ,

Just a few lines to introduce myself before I join in with the "chatter" .

My name is Phil and I'm an addict , hifi has been my drug of choice for over 30 years . I have flirted with all sorts over the years , cheap kit , expensive kit , small speakers , large speakers , valves , solid state even a bit of diy .
Yes I am a hopeless case .

These days I have a simple vinyl only set up consisting of -


Technics SL1200G fitted with a Jelco TK950S / Benz Ace ( or DL103 when the mood takes me ) .

Hashimoto HM3 SUT .

Yamaha A-S 2100 .

Yamaha NS1000 .

Cables are ............................ only kidding , I'm not going to start a war on my first post :lol:


I'm looking forward to joining in with the fun .

Cables, I was once a believer but have now seen the light. I tend to diy my own now.

My musical tastes are all over the place, rock, indie, soul, jazz, funk, blues even a bit of classical. But according to my wife and kids mostly shite.
