My new job as pit crew

My son Conner is taking 3 months off baseball to rest his arm after the last game Saturday for 3 months and will ride BMX till Baseball tryouts in January.
This means I am the pit crew so I made up an old Kennedy box with all the bike tools some are for geared bikes but I decided to put all the bike stuff in the same box.
Thought I would share some pictures of my kit.

I have made it a point over the years to buy good tools a little at a time .
They are really Conner's now i am just care taking them for a few more years.
I hope he appreciates all the years it took buying one or two tools at a time,insisting on buying quality , and effort it took chasing down tool trucks .
My Favorite brands are Snap on , Mac , Matco , Stahlwille ,Proto, Knipex, NWS, Bacho, Milwaukee, Hazet , Gedore.
So that is the bike box.

Nice tool kit . I daresay you will discover over time that you need to add one or two items , but that tool kit does look pretty comprehensive :)

Will his arm get rest on a BMX bike? I would have thought it would a workout hanging on to the bars, maybe not,

Different mussel groups used .
Throwing a fastball and pulling up on handle bars are so entirely different from one another it will still let him rest from throwing.
Try outs for Spring season are in mid January but the season starts in early March.
So he will get some well earned rest, he will still hit an average of 300 to 400 balls a day.He will still do push ups,sit ups and pull ups as well as 100 yard sprints and work out with the medicine balls.
Foot ball and base ball is very competitive here, gaining one or two ounces in bat weight for the next season means many hours spent swinging the next bat up.
Conner is not the biggest kid he is 10 years old,4 foot 7.5 and just under 100 pounds and swings a 30 inch 23 ounce bat . Most kids both bigger than him and older are still swinging 17 and 18 ounce bats.
There are major league players that swing a 35 inch 32 oz. By next year this time I want him in a 31 inch 25 to 26 ounce bat.
Hard work goes into the making of a power hitter.
