WTD: Pioneer CT-93 cassette player

Quite a rare cassette deck, so I'm not really surprised that one has not appeared yet. I may be interested in the earlier CT-91 or 91a model if anyone has one. I am aware of Ebay, thanks.

Hi Robin, I'm in the fortunate position of being able to service my own stuff. I'm a qualified electronics engineer and have collected and restored valve radios, hifi, TVs and solid state hifi radios and early video recorders. When you say yours is "mint" do you mean cosmetically, or did someone sell you one that was described as 'mint' (as in mint throughout) and wasn't as described hence the extra work?

I knew from experience that any piece of vintage gear (i.e. >20 years old) is going to need work.

So, I waited for one that was mint cosmetically and priced in the work that I knew was likely to be required.
