Hi All -

My name is Adam, located in Godalming, Surrey. I have recently changed my Arcam/B&W setup to Hypex/NS-1000M. It’s in the lounge which means limited options for speaker placement and room treatment, so I’m looking forward to learning more about measurement and DSP. Current system: Linn Axis, Avondale Alpha 5, Squeezebox Classic into Hypex NC400 monos, Yamaha NS-1000M.

Hi Adam, another Surrey member. Welcome. I have a few DIY Class D amps.....oh....and too many others as well! The Hypex based amps are well regarded. As a cheapskate I have used the IRS2092 based modules which IMO are pretty good and a few other types as well. Good sound for silly money really.

Jacob Collier is amazing. Wasn't he at AH on one of the Proms concerts on BBC4?

I wasn't familiar with Jacob Collier's work, but have checked him out on YouTube: what an amazingly talented musician!

The Snarky Puppy set was mostly tracks from their recent album - the band was tight, the improvisation superb - it was a really great gig.
