You might try phoning AN directly and asking if they have anything ex-demo.

You might get a surprise.

i've contacted AN, but i wanted to see if anyone on here had a DAC.

also considered SW1X Audio, but no ex demo sock or deals there!

I had an AN DAC previously and had problems because of their ridiculously high output voltage which completely swamped my pre amp.
I now have a SW1x Dac 1 which is remarkably similar but with non of the problems of the AN. (especially the price)
I suggest you try to listen to one.
There are a few forum members who have them
