As above, must be in good order all round please.

Budget around £500, may stretch a little for something really nice!

Many thanks

A Jelco arm is a drop in replacement, I understand. You could also look for a Roksan Nima

As far as I understood it a Jelco SP distance is a few mm more than Linn geometry. Whether that makes any difference is another matter but just thought I'd mention it.....

Nima's Rega geometry... Jelco's more like 215mm, Linn's 211mm.

Ittok's the obvious one, but others that'll fit are Zeta and the old Helius Scorpio (so good AN cloned it) Aurius. Alphason's a drop in too.
Synrinx is the correct geometry but needs a different sized hole.

Is the arm intended for an LP12? If so, changing the armboard is a fairly simple thing to do - if you are changing the arm, all the hard work (alignment etc) will need to be done any way. Changing the armboard will make a lot more arms viable. SME and Rega mount being the obvious choices, but others are also possible (e.g. I use an AudioTechnica AT-1010 in my LP12).

Yes going onto an LP12 and the sub-chassis I have fitted requires a Linn geometry tonearm

Many thanks
