I'm not in the mood for hifi, since my dog Ted was killed today on the electrified railway that runs behind here. The little sod had found a way through the fence that I had not proofed. Anyway, RIP Ted, you'll be missed.

Thanks to you all. I'm wobbling between coping and not at all coping. Everyone has been so kind, including Network Rail. Luckily the other dog seems to be adjusting well to life without Ted.

I've just noticed your sad post Shuggie.

Pets become part of the family and it can be devastating when they are lost, especially in circumstances as that of Ted.

When one of our cats went missing, I went out look for him and found him dead; killed on a nearby fast bypass. I buried him there at the side of the road, went home and wept. Pets can, and do, mean that much!

So sad to read this Shuggie , it hurts i know, the cat in my avatar (Fluff) was run over back in 2005.

You wont believe how i cried like a baby , and i am not ashamed to admit it , i loved the little fella.
