I built these around 5 months ago and they are still working faultlessly but I've decided to go back to an integrated amp so surplus to my needs. Build was very simple, boards come complete and it's just a matter of hooking them up to the terminals using the wiring loom provided along with the custom cases from Ghent Audio so no worries about my electronics skills :)

These are current Icepower modules rated at 170 watts into 4 ohms and are mini power houses.
Sound quality in my opinion is quite excellent demonstrating what the latest Class D amps can do.
You'll see that these are wired for XLR input. There is a switch and ouput for single ended output but this is not wired in. I can supply a convertor for XLR to phono if you need this.

Total build cost for modules and the Ghent cases was approximately £330.

If anybody is thinking of these but is put off by the balanced connection I do have a pair of XLR to phono cables that I am happy to include with the amps.

These really are excellent transparent and powerful little amps.

I've heard these a couple of times in multiple configurations at Ian's, effortless, airy and detailed. They are fantastic with his Jordans.

It's been pointed out to me that Icepower has been spun off from Bang and Olufsen as a separate company so I thought it worth mentioning here.
For those of you not familiar with these latest generation Icepower modules companies like Wyred4Sound, Bel Canto and Peachtree use them in their current models and these are well reviewed for their sound quality. The Wyred4Sound MiNT uses the same 50ASX2 modules as for sale here giving 170w into 4 ohm or 100w into 8 ohm loads. Bel Canto use more powerful versions of these modules.
