jelco 250st fitting

I tried to start my arm refit tonight but ran into a problem.
Does any one know if the arm comes with a detachable base ring that goes on between the arm board and the arm stem.
I tried to screw the arm onto the armboard but the screws that come with the arm are to big to go into the armboard. Im wondering if im missing a part.

Ok, i dont think i have any thing missing its the holes in the armboard are a touch to small. Literally a thread size to small so im going to ream the holes slightly with a file. I dont think this will upset the final measurements , ive got a Mint protractor so it should be pretty spot on.

Cheers Alex. Just finished it. Jelco is now in place. Had to sit down with a brew and just think for a bit. Its been a bit manic, 48h panic and now feeling pretty elated after my first Technics strip aided by those nice DJ boys on You Tube.
Now the hard part with the protractor. Probably leave that to weekend for plenty of hours of natural day light.
