What cables to use with Airport Express?

I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on the best cable choice for hooking up an Airport Express to my Caiman.
I think there are various options like optical and analogue etc. and I'm really looking for the one which will give the best synnergy and sound quality.

If you can get away with just 1 meter of cable, then my own TC-3618 TOLSINK plus the TC-3617 MAC adapter will be the ideal solution.

what is the MAC adapter? I can't see it on your site anywhere as the TC-3617 is a Toslink cable....

A 3.5mm adapter so a toslink connector fits the airport express socket.
