I would like to buy of these as a media pc for my living room... At least I think I would.... Has anyone got one? Are they as silent as reported?
I'm going to use it to serve my linn ds instead of my work computer, as well as for spotify in the living room - somthing the majik can't currently stream without a whole lot of fuss. I also want it for watching streaming tv ... 4od and all the sorta stuff!
Any thoughts, any alternatives?

Wouldnt you be better using your large LCD TV as the monitor! Have you got a PC socket on the back of TV?

Yeah, that's the plan, it doesn't come with a monitor.
Yes I have VGA conection on my tv but the acer also has hdmi, so I'm guessing if I use that it will detect the 1366 x 768 native res of the tv

is the processor liquid cooled & a solid state HDD if so it should be deadly quiet
