Just a quick introduction.
I’m Martin, I am a combustion engineer who works for a commercial appliance manufacturer.
I owe my interest in hifi to my father, who’s system always sounded better than any one else’s I knew.
I wanted to join a forum that was frequented by likeminded folks rather than opinionated self proclaimed “experts “.
So here I am.
I like pretty much all types of music. My favourite formats are vinyl and Cd. I’m really not taken with streaming as I feel there’s something missing.
I’m using a Theta transport to feed an Audio Note DAC 0.1x. Thorens TD160mk2, which I totally rebuilt and these in turn go through an Icon Audio passive preamp befor being fed to my Audio Research D130 power amp. Sonus Faber Concertino’s and REL sub deliver the goods.
