Having sold my SME IV tone arm that had a removable head shell I have just realised that I still have this spare one sat in my draw, so here it is up for sale.
It is a pressure die-cast magnesium detachable head shell for the SME Series 309 tonearm,
Weight 27 grams
Includes finger lift, cartridge wires, cartridge bolts. As can be seen it is unmarked and was used briefly to try out a cartridge on loan.
The cartridge wires are brand new fitted today, and are high quality 5N Silver Headshell Leads.
I cannot find the M2 head shell clamping bolt and nut, but have ordered these and will supply with the head shell, they should be with me in a few days.
These currently sell for £199.99 new
