I bought this recently and have decided it is not really to my taste. The detail retrieval is absoloutly astonishing, I'm amazed at the things I can hear that I've not noticed before. This detail, along with my very neutral headphone amp makes it a bit too much for my ears and I prefer the slightly more layed back sound of my Allo DAC. Reading online, others comment that it is very balanced.
This is a standalone USB DAC that takes its power from the USB cable, so no additional PSU required.
I have been useing it connected to a Raspberry Pi and it works faultlessly.
Perfect condition, includes a USB cable, various connectors (don't know what these are for) and stand offs for mounting it. Audiophonics sell a case for £15.00 I beleive.
