Thanks Phil it is a very good Preamp for the money, I would say it equals passives at double it’s price but it also has some useful abilities with the valve on or off etc. I just don’t need it and I don’t collect stuff, hopefully it will go to a good home

Yes i used this with firebottles monoblocks with a brimar valve and it was absolutely superb match . Extremely quiet in operation in valve form unlike my freya which is sitting in a box becuase the valves make a bit of noise !! , tremendous bargain and the saga is slightly warmer than the freya
