Thöress "Super" pre - has anyone heard music through one?

With a Van den Hul The Grail arriving next week, yet another preamp with phono stage just caught my eye (when will this stop?): a Thöress "Super" pre with 3 phono inputs, 1 low level input and 2 cd-inputs (high level). It is something of a beast in size, however.

I know that some people here have either owned or trialed a Thöress Phono Enhancer - the stand-alone phono stage, but has anyone had a chance to have a listen to music through this?

Has anyone heard what the SUPER preamp is like?

That just looks "correct", if you see what I mean. Great looks and functionality.

I didn't like the Phono Enhancer at all and neither did anyone who visited ... the pre has less functionality but should be competent enough - is it a tube-FET hybrid like the phono stage or a pure tube arrangement?

The main thing that surprised me about the phono stage was how light in weight it was it was, it felt like the giant box metal it came in was empty! I like my bits to come with lots of iron inside ....

I thought that too before I had a play with one. Mind you to be fair it has its fans.
