My name is Dean.
Live in Bristol.
Have had various systems over the years - had stacked Quads (57’s) for many years TL12+ and .1. Latterly 300b’s.
Now active. Home made speakers.
Meridian CD.
No turntable at present.
John Wood amplification and a preamp for sale as no turntable and superfluous to requirement.
Music - presently nearly all modern blues/rock Larkin Poe, Samantha Fish, Lissie.

Thanks guys.
Stacked Quads are good but their limited hf/lf/spl/single listener seat make them suitable for a few applications. Once I abandoned them I think my musical tastes/enjoyment really broadened and the whole music thing became a whole lot more sociable.

It all depends on how the stacking is done. SPL is doubled, and the FR is extended by a small amount in both directions.
