Dave Slagle Copper SUT made for a Audio Note IO

It does have a set of loading plugs which makes it more flexible but really it deserves to be with an IO.

Bob Cusworth made this for Jack at BD Audio I believe and it has been around various parties. From all reports it is as good as you can get before you go all silver.

When I first received it as the end cap had cracked, RCAs were loose and it wasn’t in great shape.

Steve and I have just finished sorting it out, so it is now completely shielded (Mu Metal enclosed). The actual unit is fixed rather than loose inside the barrel, and it has a solid copper end cap to which the RCAs (and unit itself) is fixed.

I had bought this as I hoped to try with an IO but now need funds for something else.

Looking for £875 meet up or collection preferred, but PnP possible (£25)

Bump...These really are right up there sonically...

Considered much better than ANS3 and not far behind the ANUK S8/9. Simon (from SJS) was a previous owner and found them better than HM7s/Ortofon T5000...

Heard this with an Ikeda 9TT the other day and it sounded very nice....

Still for sale...

Would be a great present for Christmas for the discerning IO user!

I presume this was sold? You didn’t give up trying to sell it?

Yes it sold. Nice unit, and would be a lot more expensive now.
