Hello to the AOS Community,

I would like to participate to some extent in the community. So that there is no conflict of interest, I should state (for the record) that I distribute some esoteric audio brands through a company called Tone Distribution (Europe) S.a.r.l.

So I will be looking to be issued my Trade license from Marco at some stage.

I am also a massive Tannoy loudspeaker fan and have, in the past, been active in the DIY audio scene.

It might just be as a result of search engine miss direct because its a new website. AIHFA had similar problems early on, as search engines learn't of the magazines existence. However it might not be that:scratch:

Sorry for the late reply. Things a little hectic at the moment...

Yes, I am happy to contribute what little I know ..

Regarding Tannoy we use LRMs in one of our reference systems. I am a huge fan of the Dual Concentric driver. Some purists will tell you that if you hear open baffle loudspeakers, it is hard to go back to box speakers. For me, if you have heard the 'so right' quality of the Tannoy DCs, it is hard to go back to a loudspeaker system which is not point source.

In terms of what company am I? ... I am one of a number of people involved in the Gramofone 'project' , but most of my time is taken up with Tone Distribution (Europe) S.a.r.l. which is a distributor of Gramofone and soon other marques as well.

The website was down for programming, but I believe it is up and running again.

Hope this clarifies.

There will be a link to hopefully another British marque coming soon, if they agree to appoint us as distributors ...
