Ive been advised elsewhere that the Speaker stands may be for Linn Saras.

Brian,

The #2 rack looks like 3 x 2 tier Sound Factory units. They are a precursor to the Soundstyle racks & retailed from a shop of that name in Loughborough & manufactured by Fabriweld, who also made all of the Sound Organisation stuff IIRC. They were well liked in the early 90s & cost a couple of hundred for the bits you have. Excellent with CB Naim kit, I still have a couple in the shed. A bit of blutak to secure the shelves worked wonders.

A bargain for what you’re asking.

They certainly look like Sara stands, but the ones I recall were slightly different. That is to say that the top plate was slightly smaller and the top spikes were also the nuts that held the top plate to the uprights.

The Sound Factory stands we’re excellent and I still have a whole bunch in my own system.

Hi Brian, I would like rack no.2 please. I'm not far away and could collect later this week :)

Steve, I’m so sorry, but just 5 minutes ago I agreed to sell that to someone else via another forum. He is also going to collect.

I came back here to update my thread.

If that should fall through, I will get in touch.

SO..... tripod rack is gone, subject to usual stuff

No worries Brian. I'll certainly be interested if the other bloke doesn't turn up :)

I have now sold the following.

1)The tripod rack . Number 2 on my original list

2)The speaker stands ( possibly for Saras )
The same buyer also bought the stands for Snell/Audio Note that I had
for sale in a different thread.

3)Slab of granite.

So, that just leaves the APOLLO rack, with lovely glass shelves.
Just £10 !!!!
Form an orderly queue. No pushing at the back.
That’s just a little more than the cost of a couple of pints of Guinness. You know it makes sense.

AH Brian, that Apollo rack must be feeling really sad and unwanted, so I would like to give it a good home IF YOU STILL HAVE IT :D I reckon I can use it, with one or two modifications :) It might be Sunday before I can collect though.
