CJ Walker CJ55 Turntable with Lenco GL75 tonearm.

Arm has been modded to use a straight carbon fibre wand and an adjustable Dual Carbon Fibre headshell. New armboard from laminate material, cut to fit the arm and lift mechanism. Cartridge is a Vertex V-70 and stylus looks like new and plays perfectly. Tracking and alignment are spot on.

Original motor, modded to remove "knock" problem, as is common in this motor. Ceramic ball bearing on base in threaded housing, with screw for adjustment.

New belt. Main bearing fully serviced, cleaned and relubed, with silicon nitride ball bearing. New mains wiring to new mains plug. Tonearm rewired with copper Litz wire, and terminated in gold phono sockets and ground tag on rear panel. Good care taken of grounding. Sub & Main platters are of "Tufnol" material and are in VGC, both perfectly balanced.

Lid & hinges are original and in good condition, with just the usual minor wear and surface marks as you would expect from something of this age. Flash photography always makes marks appear much worse than they are !

Plinth is also in good condition, with the same age and wear marks, lightly sanded and oiled with linseed oil and a final coat of wax polish. Wood looks beautiful. New baseboard and feet.

An altogether excellent turntable, beautifully balanced on four point suspension, with access to 4x balance hex head bolts on top panel.

I always try and describe my kit as fully and accurately as possible, please feel free to ask any questions !
