Wanted: Dac with Preamp

Looking for a DAC that also has a preamp built in with a remote also! Up to £500 is my budget.

nice little dac which it can be used as a pre amp , we heard this at a coherant demo once and it did not disgrace

If you don't need a phono stage then the first model Quad Vena is a very versatile DAC with a respectable integrated amp ... but also has outputs to use as a Preamp:

I have one and have been very pleased with it :thumbsup:

Indeed i use the newer model as a pre and dac. its very good and around budget. Took a few weeks to burn in but very pleased with it now.
