Venturing into iMac based music, I was tempted by this article.

And hit lucky really, as it's a great d/a (as many others have testified since)
Mine is just over a year old, only used about once a week for 'best' (I have a Kingrex usb amp for general use). So really just 'run in'!
Is in as new condition still with paper cover on the top!
It is designed like the Audionote d/a's, without a digital filter and produces a lovely holistic musical picture.
Apparently changing the valve can improve the sound and further tweaks aren't unknown. I love the Perspex box (as an ex-DNM owner, I would!)

£320 +post. (Current list is £420, plus package and 15% customs!)
Those who've heard it here reckon it's vastly underpriced!
