Okay so here's my beloved SP10. I got it from a dealer 3 years ago and had the power supply recapped with Elna and Nichicon caps by a qualified electrical engineer. It has served me without a hitch, never drifting off speed and always reliable - it was the deck that turned me away from flaky idler drives or rubber bands. It is absolutely absent from the music, it adds nothing nor takes anything away.

Cosmetically the deck is excellent, with no scratches etc (see photos). If I remember rightly one of the retaining bolts needs some dw40 as it was stuck fast and in my impatience to get it up and running I've always used it anchored by the other three and never seen the need to get it sorted. Too busy enjoying music.

I also had the bearing cleaned. There is zero noise with a stethoscope.

The power supply has not had such a happy life cosmetically, with scratches (see photos) but as it was always tucked out of the way I never worried.

I'm happy to throw in the lovely brass and African black wood puck (750gms, if I remember rightly) made by a member of this parish.

I really am not happy about selling it as it marks the end to my vinyl adventure, the vinyl collection will come when I'm ready to shed a few tears.

Shipping, I would recommend going with a basic courier, and reckon it will come in at around €70 to ship (it's heavy). If you prefer UPS ok, but it will be circa €200.

I paid 990€ + shipping and am asking 950€ + shipping, which can be calculated once it's boxed up (very, very well).

The plinth is not included (it weighs over 45kg).

Payment by PayPal FF or transfer.

Someone asked me about the 'sound signature' of the SP10. It doesn't have one. However, if you are using an idler or belt driven deck you will hear an immediate difference in the attack and decay of transients, the SP10 starts and stops a note with supreme precision - coming from an idler drive I was shocked and blown away by the difference - the idler was clumsy and smeared transients, especially sibilants and bass notes, in comparison. There was no going back.

SP10 is my turntable of choice as many of you know. Its the most neutral and best turntable I've heard at disappearing from the music.

A stunning price so snap it up ASAP.

GLWS even though you will regret it.
