My Roksan Xerxes with a new Pug unipivot tonearm.
I bought the turntable new from Ceative Audio in Shrewsbury in 1990- originally with a Tabriz Zi tonarm and Linn K18, then I fitted an Origin Live Silver taper in about 2003 and last year I fitted a Roksan Pug unipivot.
The photo shows a Music Maker cartridge fitted but this has now been replaced with a rebuilt Ortofon Rhomann.
I've used the following cartridges over the years: Linn K18, Audio Technical AT 95 (X2), Audio Technical OC9 II, Music Maker 2, Music Maker 3, Ortofon Rhomann.
In 2000 I fitted an Airpax DC motor unit with a Paul Hynes custom power supply

Do you mean ‘Airpax DC motor’ as Airpax are more associated with AC motors? Perhaps you mean Maxon DC motor, or Airpax AC motor (which is what it came with).

Nice combo by the way :).

You're right, I replaced the original motor (Airpax) with a Maxon dc motor.

After nearly 30 yrs your Roksan still looks wonderful, and the arm is too bad either.
