Does anyone know how to stop or remove an ad on this website? If you mark the item as sold, it remains in the listing.

it will say sold for a couple of days and then it will dissappear

you mean this one ?

https://www.hifi-forsale.co.uk/moreinfo7.php?prod_title=Ben_Duncan_Pure_Power&p=&prod_id=69944&q=ben%20duncan&offset=

are you sure you have marked it as sold when you edited the ad ? you should get a confirmatory email

Posts advertising for items for sale, and which are subsequently sold are not closed as such. We believe that such transactions are of interest to future prospective buyers and sellers.

Good to clarify our approach through.

I had a Marantz 6000ose on the site, which is still there, in spite of marking it sold.mI have remarked it. The Ben Duncan conditioner is still for sale.

there's a time limit on how long you have to go back and edit a post. I think it is 30 minutes here.

Most advertising websites have a ‘Delete button’ on, so much simpler!

I have not read the entire thread so not sure if any one has mentioned this, you mark it sold then tick the option that states not to show ad. Other wise just phone Hifi for sale up, the owner Lee is very nice guy, and very helpful he will edit it for you job done.
