IC Lenco/Bogen B51 in slate plinth with 9/12” mounting options. (Arm and accessories not included)
Bought from Steve, build details can be found here
https://www.lencoheaven.net/forum/index.php?topic=6606.0
Has a custom bearing that he made and the platter is now a heavier weight type.
I have been around the houses getting this as good as it gets!
I have changed the idler wheel and have PTFE dampened the idler arm, I also had an issue with a linkage rubbing at one point and Steve from Magna Audio helped me sort his out.
I have compared motor units (at Inspire) and this is the quietest I have found/heard.
Looking for £575 and it would have to be pick up or collection in person
It is at least 25kg+
I have a spare motor and replacement idle wheel which I will consider selling if the purchaser wants.

That looks gorgeous Mike.
I have a soft spot for Lencos. Would my OL Silver MkII arm fit, do you know ?
Cheers,
Mike

Hi Mike
I don't know TBH. The arm mount has both 9" and 12" arm holes with a piece of rosewood that you can reverse to suit...Its a simple but clever way to do it...
The 12" Schroder is 295mm and there is a suitable hole (approx 20mm) to allow this, Ive not tried any other arms on the actual unit.
The slate is thick but (as I understand) softer than some of the UK type so I would guess could be drilled to suit...
It is a really nice unit, Ive been to Inspire and I wouldn't swap mine with any of the Enigma ones they do...
I may be persuadable to part with etc Schroder ... but it would be at a price....

Reading the original thread on LH, I'm guessing it would.
Do you still have the original platter too ?

Hole in plinth is around 45-50mm (I can't measure accurately without removing my arm) so I strongly suspect that you could mount most arms on it.
No the original light weight platter didn't work out (=sound any good) from what I understand, so I have a standard heavy platter which was as I purchased it.
Have to say I got back from the NW show at the weekend and was shocked how good I think it sounds :-)

It is looking like this will be for sale...Ive some changes on the way...
It really is a nice unit, about as sorted as a Lenco gets...As I put Im only looking to sell the motor unit at this point however if anyone is interested in the arm there is a lot of info that Steve (velvet sunrise) put on Lenco Heaven

Ive had my arm off and hence taken some shots with measurements which hopefully will be a bit more use.
I am also considering selling the arm too but this would be offered to whoever purchased the TT in the first instance...
(The last images was to show the hole is around 50mm)

Still for sale. Looking at my photos I realise the image I took with the vernier scale to show the size of the hole in the slate was 50mm ish isn't clear....In short you should be able to fit most 9/12" arms without drilling the slate.
Sensible offers considered...

Well this was sold, but unfortunately the buyer has had to pull out....
One mans loss is another's gain, so back up for sale...
It really is a nice thing and far nicer than most Lenco TT, happy to demo to any interested parties...
I am also going to sell a load of other items (in these photos), to be listed shortly....
