Hey everyone,

My name's trev and I love music.

I tend to come at it more from the playing-a-musical-instrument point of view, I've played in orchestras and bands for most of my life, but I do have a keen interest in hifi.

My current system is an odd collection of bits and pieces, but it works for me in the space I'm allowed. My main source is a Peak PT1 turntable into a Rothwell phono stage into a Mission Pres VS2 pre-amp connected to 4 MF Xa 50's bi-amped/quad-amped to Monitor Audio GS10's.

Make of that what you will ;-)

Anyhow, great to be here.

Best

Well, I was looking to buy a Cyrus power amp to match my CD and pre-amp, a pair of X-powers or a Stereo 200, but I made the mistake of comparing the Stereo 200 (very good, clean, clear mids, tight, deep bass, nice soundstage) to a Sugden A21 sig in Moorgate Acoustics and that was that. There's something about the mid-range that makes me want to keep listening.

So I've just bought Phil's (hifinutt) Sugden A21se ;-)

That should scratch the itch.
