I can vouch for Gary's Puccini being reliable, as I have made a couple of mods to correct a design fault that cooks the driver transistors.

Beware if you are buying a version in standard form.

IIRC the SE version was substantially better than the standard offering. Very nice open sound, akin to Sugden.
