What is the correct fuse rating.....

Could someone please tell me the correct fuse rating for 1mm2, 2 core mains cable. It's for a figure 8 mains lead to power my headphone amp.

I would have thought 3 amp would be fine.

You could use a 5A fuse as well, but for something low powered like your headphone amp I would stick with 3A.
