Pay-pal again

Signed into Pay-pal this morning to get a noticed saying i had XXX Amount or more of cash paid in & i have XX amount of days to comply! Or else what eh?? i need to confirm some details.. something to do with Money Laundering regulations (I know they have a code to follow).

Anyone else had this from them..

Or else what eh?? confirm some details.. something to do with Money Laundering regulations. Now for starters i never had the amount they say. I hate this organisation they think they can do what the hell they want with your accounts.I will be closing it, i don't need people like this.

I don't use Pay Pal like that only as a step for paying......why should they keep my money and then charge me to transfer it to a real world account. In saying that I don't sell only buy so have only had the odd amount there as refunds which I have then spent asap.

Transfer all your paypal money to a bank account and use (paypal) only to pay via a switch card or similar would be my advice and don't allow a pot to develop.

I would also check if this is a genuine Paypal email sign into your account to see if its there and don't link to it via this email...it could be dodgy as the amounts usually involved in money Laundering are massive. Our lovely Government wants to know all we have and do money wise and with digital they can, whereas with cash they could not. So they introduced banking rules that says that banks have to alert them to large movements of cash within bank accounts or at the bank till and I guess this includes Paypal too.

You must have sold a lot for them to be raising concerns. Transfer it into a bank account tout sweet.

You just need to confirm your address or usually phone number it shouldn't be complicate to do. It's just so they have your details so they can cover thier backs. Paypal if you think about it, would be a very easy way to launder money. I don't agree with all the charges they take, but I completely understand why they would try and avoid being accesory to money laundering crimes!
Just confirm your personal details with them and they will leave you alone

I had to do this once too. I tend to buy only these days also.
