Altoids headphone amp or similar

Hi fellas. My son wants one of those headphone amps in a tin, like the altiods one. Does anyone have a link to easy to follow plans on how to make one for a novice like me? Better still, anyone flogging one?

I've built http://williamneo.blogspot.com/ and it sounds quite good. I've read the Tangent schematic is a better circuit.

Follow a simpler to start with, and try something else if you are not happy with the results :)
