the s1000

175 wpc at 8ohms and a good write up?

i know its SS and you guys are all valve mad but there are a few advantages of SS surely?

Only the Delphi MK4 turntable which I use and love. Both a style and sound quality icon imho/e.

I have no hands on experience of the CD player or amplification.

Hi Phil

i love good valve amps, but the CA740a has changed my mind about SS , so i would say try and have a listen to one these Oracle amps ! it may be surprising who knows.

The Oracle Delphi is a fabulous deck .

Indeed, it was a great deck and available now S/H at sensible money. If you turned it over to look underneath all the clever engineering became evident. Its always interesting to see how a company scales down from their top models.

I never liked the look of the Premier...it just looked wrong.

Yeh brilliant, kinda simular looking to the Alphason 'Sonata' with the turrets..

A beautiful looking turntable was the Alphason 'Symphony' fitted with 'HR100S' has gotta be one of the best sounding TT's ever.

The Paris looked like a five year old had been learning how to use a plane on a bit of scrap timber.
